Finding a Job In Midlife When You're a Stay At Home Mom

Like everyone else these days we find our selves living on less. I'm fifty six years old and have been a stay at home wife and mom most of those years. Lately I've been brainstorming to find a way to stay home and be able to help with the bills by doing something I enjoy and getting paid for it. I think women that have never worked out side the home don't realize the many skills and talents they possess. I made a list today of things I enjoy doing and I was surprised at how many of them could be used to bring in some extra income. I'll share more on this tomorrow.

  1. It has to be a really long list. I read once that stay-at-home moms work the equivalent of two full-time jobs AND if paid the going rate for all that they do ('cept love, can't put a price on that ;) they would be salaried at not too much under $200,000. Now who wouldn't want that paycheck!? I think the dad's need to start paying up ;)
